Our beloved companion, Ali, has passed away. Her end of life care made us reflect on our capacity for compassion and patience- both for others and ourselves. 
What are our triggers? How are we caring for ourselves? How do we hold space for others? 
In the midst of an important election cycle, what's our responsibility to be in community with people who have beliefs that are fundamentally opposed to our own?
