Last week Friday, 9th April 2021 HRH Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh as we all know died. I have been fascinated by him for years and admired him greatly. The man 2 paces behind Her Majesty The Queen or beside her but 2000 ahead and shone like a diamond.

Tomorrow we bid a final farewell and I also remember 3 years on the passing of my sister Jacqui from colorectal cancer.

This episode is a tribute to the incredible people they were.

This follows on from the story that a young boy was sent packing away from secondary school because of his hair. He has dreadlocks, a Rasta, which is not acceptable in public schools because of the rules. The hypocrisy stinks and I try to draw down on different angles of the argument that I can relate to. The GES issued a directive to admit the boy and later withdrew. Let me add that according to new reports Tyrone and his  triplet sisters have had other institutions offer them admission with some going further by offering full scholarships including meals.

It takes one to spark new conversations and to make change. Could this be it?
