Can You Take Professional Photos With A Phone? With A Phone? Really? Hi and welcome to Episode 72 of the Photography Explained podcast.
I’m your host Rick, and in each episode I will explain one photographic thing to you in plain English in less than 10 minutes (ish) without the irrelevant details. What I tell you is based on my lifetime of photographic experience. And not Google.
Here is my answer
You can take professional photos with a phone. Lenses on phone cameras offer high quality image capture, which combined with the software built into phones enable you to take professional photos with your phone. To a point. There are however a number of limits on this which I will explain.
What do I mean by professional photos?
I mean photos that you sell, that are of a high enough quality to be used by clients. OK? These are photos that, before phone cameras evolved into what they are now, would have been taken on “professional cameras”. Yes that is professional with me doing air quotes with my hands.
