As America's biggest source of imported steel and aluminium into the US, Canada has announced retaliatory tariffs on some 21-Billion dollars worth of U.S. goods. 

It's a fight led by the country's new prime minister Mark Carney, a political novice with economic gravitas and steely determination to win against Donald Trump's tariff war and his repeated threat of annexation.
