Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center Director, Dr Bill Nelson, talks with singer and songwriter Martha Wainwright about her career, her mother's battle with sarcoma and Stand Up To Cancer's Kate McGarrigle Fund Music As Healing Program. 

The grant program is an initiative Stand Up To Cancer Canada that encourages cancer patients and survivors to share their cancer journey through original music with up to 10 finalists being chosen to receive $2,500 to support the professional recording of their original song.
