By practicing detachment, we allow experiences to be just that; an experience. For most of us, we have allowed too many factors be loud in our lives overpowering our voices, our true choices. I encourage you to show up as you are, confidently, proudly. Embrace all that you are. 

Cut the mics on the outside noise.

Being raised by Narcissists turned me into a people pleaser.

Change is inevitable. Adapt and adjust. Move on. Set the tone.

Break the cycle. The black family dynamic doesn't have to be chaotic.
