Not every dog immediately thrives in the Hoopers competition ring. Some dogs stress down and are easily spotted , some stress up and some dogs are just over aroused. Some of the basics are a good starting point for all dogs. Some issues need specific steps to help build the confidence ready for the show environment. It can take a very long time and its important to go at the dog's pace.

Lots of training for Canine Hoopers can look similar. Although there will be differences between what instructors choose to teach first and a beginners course syllabus.
