Losing a loved one is never easy. Even after some time has passed, grief can still hit you out of nowhere.
In this episode, I talk about my recent trip to London and how happy I was to help my daughter start her new journey. But when I got back home, I had to face a daunting task- cleaning out my mom's apartment after her passing. Going through her things made me feel the ups and downs of grief all over again, even though I thought I was coping with the loss.
I've been reading a book called "Taking the Path of Zen," which teaches me how to handle life's challenges and transitions by practicing mindfulness and acceptance. By applying these teachings every day, I'm learning how to navigate the different emotions that come with losing a loved one, while still being thankful for the time we had together.
Join me as I share my thoughts on finding strength and peace during tough times, and discover how being mindful can help us build emotional resilience and get through just about anything.
XO,
Michelle
