As we explore the SHAPE God has made us in, we reflect on our different personalities. We consider the ways our personalities shape our perceptions and experiences and how many conflict arise from differences of personalities. Finally, we hear the call of the Apostle Paul to bring our differences together in unity and acknowledge how our differences make us stronger when brought together.

We continue our series exploring the SHAPE God has made each of us in. Today the focus is on our Abilities. We can so easily overlook the abilities, skills, and talents God has given us and allowed us to develop when we consider God's call on our lives. Using the model of Moses selection of “competent" people to help lead the people of Israel, we consider the part our Abilities play in shaping our lives.

Today we continue looking at the heart God has given each of us. We take a deeper look at those things that can harden our heart and rub us from living out the passion God has created us with.

We continue our mission focus by looking at Jesus' instructions to 72 of His disciples as He sent them out. We particularly examine the instruction to speak peace and engage with people who return your peace. What does this mean? And how can it instruct us as we witness for Christ?

Today we look at one of the best known passages in the Bible: the Great Commission. We discover that, in this call to mission, there is really only one command that Jesus gives. We discuss how to understand the call to “make disciples” and what it means to "go."

The first Easter Sunday was a day of great confusion for the disciples. One disciple in particular who struggled to believe the announcement that Jesus was alive was Thomas. In this sermon we imagine ourselves in Thomas’s shoes, hearing this unbelievable news and not being able to process it. We then consider what it means to doubt and the struggle faith can be for us.

On this Palm Sunday we remember Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We reflect on the different expectations people had of Jesus and how Jesus carried the burden of knowing his true call. And we consider the expectations we have of Jesus and how our own expectations can lead us to miss Jesus' true work in our lives and neighbourhoods.
