In 1989, Tim Burton’s BATMAN changed the way we look at comic book movies. The film was the biggest blockbuster of the year, breaking new ground with its unique aesthetic, musical score, marketing, and merchandise. In this episode, I am joined by Toy Shiz as we take a step back and reminisce about BATMAN’s theatrical release, its place in Batman film history, and all the wonderful toys that accompanied it.
