The popular Christmas carol "Joy to the World" has been misunderstood throughout the years, and the idea of joy during this Christmas season is not something that everyone resonates with. However, Isaac Watts' original meaning for the carol points to a greater joy than we could imagine, one that was spoken of to the shepherds in the region of Bethlehem. A joy that we as Christ followers have access to today, and joy that is to come.

We have been commissioned to make disciples of all nations, and this incredible feat is only possible through the message of what Jesus has done for us.
