We reflect on the profound connection between the birth of Jesus Christ and the purpose for which He came into the world. Jesus' birth in a humble manger was not just the beginning of a life, but the arrival of God's greatest gift to humanity—the Savior who would redeem the world. Likewise as Christ followers we are called to wait expectantly for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. As believers, we are not to wait passively, but with eager anticipation, trusting in the promises of Scripture that He will return in glory to make all things new. Waiting expectantly means living each day with purpose, knowing that Christ’s return is our ultimate hope.
