At the heart-and-soul of Christmas is a paradox. God came into this world helpless in the arms of humans for humans who were helpless and in need of the arms of God.

But maybe the paradox is the point?

If despair is trying to convince you that this is the end, may Christmas give you a new sense of destiny so that you'll live with a holy suspicion that believe that this is only the beginning and God is up to something in your life.

You don't need to understand fully to obey immediately. Instead of doing less until God give you a "Yes", you should go until God gives you a "No"

If joy is tied to a "who" and not a "what," then who do you need to make peace with?

We all want to be a part of something significant, but few of us want to make a sacrifice. Show what you sacrifice for and it'll show want you love, because you'll always sacrifice for what you love.

If you want God to show up and be visible in your life, then you need to show up and be visible in your life too.

The Party Theology Tenet: pursuing God will always lead to the pursuit of people. Anyone who doesn't think there's room for more people in God's house doesn't understand how God throws parties. In God's house, there's always room for one more.

If you want God to show off, you need to show up!
