To kill the spider we must: gaze at God, glance at the lie. Turn up the truth about you and turn down the noise inside of you.

A spider is a lie that you've come into agreement with and a cobweb is a medicator that brings false comfort to that lie. Jesus meets you where you are, not where you pretend to be.
