When we are detached, we become different people.

David was a leader on the front lines - and this is when he was most impactful. But towards the end of his leadership, he withdrew, he stopped. And this is when his leadership became ineffective. It is important to stop, to take breaks, but it is equally important to start again.

As we reflect on, and observe what God has done for us, that is when we can become at rest in God. 

Pastor Chris talks on Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones and the importance of prophesying life over our situations - even those things which might seem dead to you, God can resurrect.

Take some time this week to pray on this word and allow God to bring dreams to life, and opportunities which you might have given up on, to be hope filled again.

The same is true for us. We have a source, and we have a flow. The question is, what is your source? If it's some material possession, it will likely let you down at some point. Make the choice instead to draw from the Holy Spirit, and let God be your strength.

We have the ability to create our future. Just like the woman in the account, we can make room, but we're not forced to. It's a choice we get to make.

God comes where He's wanted. Instead of just allowing God to stop by occasionally, why not be intentional about making room for Him to stay permanently?
