We know in detail what happened on Friday (Jesus' betrayal, arrest, trials, scourging, crucifixion, death, burial). We know in detail what happened on Sunday (Jesus' resurrection, interactions with Mary and the Disciples). But what happened on Saturday? Jesus taught his disciples in the Gospel accounts that God is three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Come and learn about the unique person of God the Father this week. Acts 3 tells the story of the first miracle done by the early church after Jesus had ascended up to heaven. We can learn a lot about all miracles by looking more closely at the church’s first miracle, like what miracles are, what miracles point to, and how miracles can give us hope today.

Psalm 138 is a song of thankfulness and praise. To be thankful, one needs to be thankful "FOR" something.
This Psalm tells us what David is thankful for and how he has expressed that gratitude and also hints at where or before whom he has sung his praise to God. We today can follow his model and sing our thanks and praise to him in more places than just our church.

Jesus challenges us to bring our struggles and cares before him. To ask God to provide for us in all matters. We call this type of prayer "Supplication."

Psalm 86 is a psalm of supplication. It guides us in the process of making a request to the Lord with a humble heart. It teaches us how to bring our requests before the Lord and position ourselves for his response. Join us this Sunday as we continue in our series on the Psalms.

What do we rely on for confidence? Who do we trust in? Psalm 91 paints a picture of the protective nature of God. His name is a shelter that provides all we need in the face of life’s many dangers and challenges. The psalmist expounds on this sense of security using powerful metaphors and draws out promises for the people of God.
