There is no such thing as the perfect marriage because there is no such thing as perfect people. Marriage is wonderful because it provides a space to share your life with another person. However, one thing we quickly realize is that our partner is broken and so are we. The beauty comes when we realize that God meets us in this broken relationship and works to weave us together by his grace.

The people of Israel disobeyed God's principles on marriage and divorce just like the generations before them had rebelled. God is love. This is difficult for us to comprehend because there are so many competing definitions of love in the world today. Join us this Sunday as we learn how God defines his love for us and how we are called to respond to his love.

It can be difficult to maintain your faith in the midst of difficult situations. It is good to remember that God works for his purposes even in the middle of difficult times. Some of life's greatest blessings come through adversity and struggle. It has been 100 years after temple worship has been established a second time yet the people, who thought they would be blessed, continue to struggle.
