CAPES & MICS! (The HipHop & Superhero Creations Of Henry "Young" Shel)

Today we continue our discussion and reaction to Kanye West documentary series Jeen-Yuhs part 2. Next we discuss the new format of the show and Capes & Mics YouTube channel.

In this episode we break format slightly and spend half the episode discussing our reactions to the new Kanye West Documentary, Jeen-Yuhs (on Netflix). PLUS in depth updates and discussions on the latest Capes & Mics suoerhero book project...Heromantics...coming soon!

This episode we finally listen to my debut E.P. "That 9 Oh's Vibe!", which is now available at youngshel.bandcamp.com

We turned on the mic...we talked...we said goodbye.

This episode could easily be called the episode that almost didn't happen...BUT it did. In spite of some real life challenges that had your host Young Shel down in the dumps we still showed up...and showed out! What should have been a story telling episode turned into a power hour of uplifting and encouraging conversations for anyone feeling discouraged in the pursuit of their own passion projects and personal goals.

Today's episode we discuss CDH Live's new Live album release - PASSION. And just for fun, also discuss some other interesting Live Music offerings in the world of film.

In this episode I take time out from our regularly scheduled program to acknowledge a handful of regular listeners. It's basically a shout out party! 🥳 Then to wrap up the show, we go into story mode, and listen to another preview chapter of my superhero series Hearts & Powers!

Inspired by the recent, most epic versuz battle (Big Daddy Kane vs. KRS One), in this episode I try to encourage all my listeners to get off the bench and get in the game of life, by "shooting your shot" at whatever dreams or goals you have been keeping yourself from going after. PLUS after an enthusiastic discussion of the battle with guest co-host Craig Live, I also share the first official single from my up coming Just Rap album.
