Alyssa does not have Acid nor a PHD and she feels she needed those to understand Mother, the new movie starring Jennifer Lawrence.  *SPOILERS*  Alyssa REALLY wanted to love this movie, but her experience with the movie was so awful she HAD to join us for a guest review on this episode of Capes on Capes.  Maybe she will give us a Retro Review for The Vampire Diaries finally.

Big story the last two weeks is that the movie industry is down this year and they blame Rotten Tomatoes for bad reviews.  We discuss this plus Hamby hosting Star Wars Night at the San Diego Padres and then hosting Comic Con Day and meeting the CEO of Comic Con here in San Diego. Bryce is back!  We talk a little post Comic Con, Mark Hamill Drive, Millarworld coming to Netflix, Disney leaving Netflix, and Robert Kirkman's Skybound coming to Amazon!

Great news!  Bryce and his wife and newborn are doing well!  We also survived Comic Con.  Bryce is out this week being a dad, so we are joined by Alonso from Little Fish Comic Book Studio to discuss the craziness that is San Diego Comic Con as well as the experience having a booth on the show floor and having students to wrangle!  We also talk about next years San Diego Comic Fest.

We caught up with our friend Kelly from Long Beach to talk Cosplay, being empowered by strong and tall female characters such as Wonder Woman, Brienne of Tarth, Captain Phasma, Lady Thor and more.

At San Diego Comic Con 2017 Hamby caught up with Ali Williams aka Nuka Girl.  Literally blurted out "Nuka Cola Girl" and she was nice enough to answer some questions about Cosplay, coming to San Diego, Comic Con, her upcoming comic book project and more!
