Fighting the good fight of faith requires truthful teaching about that which is most important â€" living a life of love for God and others; it is this teaching that compliments the good news of who God is and what He as made available to us.

Fight the Good Fight of Faith - Fight Against False Teaching that Leads to Misguided Living

If we are to fight the good fight of faith, we must fight against false teaching, which is a responsibility we cannot run from, and we must counter that false teaching with truthful teaching about life. I Timothy 1:3-4

In a world looking for direction in the midst of competing ideas and philosophies, God gives us “Lessons in Leadership”, as Paul addresses Timothy and instructs him, just as a mentor would instruct and encourage a mentee. Scripture: I Timothy 1:1-2; 3:14-15

God has given us the stewardship of time, talent, treasure, and truth. Only through a biblical understanding of how to manage them do we have the opportunity to maximize our influence in this life and prepare for the one that is eternal.

Joseph comes to the end of his life, having been committed to live for the purposes of God, and we are able to both celebrate a life well lived and then be inspired to follow his legacy.

Joseph gives us an example of how living out biblical values in the everyday business of life can shape the private and public cultures in which we live.

Since the fall of man, God has desired relational healing for us in all our relational roles, and Joseph provides a model for us in pursuing the healing God has made available.

Practicing forgiveness is essential to a healthy relationship with God, a healthy personality, and healthy relationships with others. God has modeled forgiveness for us and commands that we follow His example and forgive others just as He has forgiven us. Also see Genesis 42.

God does not intend that Easter be the celebration of an event in the midst of our sinning, but the verification of His love that would in turn inspire us to no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf.
