1. What was your life like when you were lost, when you met Jesus and now that you are found? Why do you think sharing your testimony is so important?
2. God's heart is for the lost. He diligently searches for the lost. Discuss in your groups, some practical ways of sharing your faith.
3. Each one of us can serve God, serve His purpose. Discuss in your group, how you are making a difference in the area God has placed you.
Prayer Points:
• Pray for any friends and family who are unsaved.
• Pray that prodigals will return home.
• 'By His stripes we are healed.' Pray for any healing needs in your group.

Welcome to Pathways Connect. For this episode Pastor Hamish talks about how we can get real with God.
Discussion Questions:
1. As children, was there ever a time where you hid from your parents
after doing something wrong? How did you feel? Did your parents
forgive you?
(This question is set as an opening discussion to get people sharing their childhood memories. The point is to make a direct comparison with the way Adam and Eve hid from Father God, and to spark
conversation about shame and forgiveness).
2. Ps Hamish said that we need to “aggressively interrogate reality.” Why do you think people find truth confronting? And what role does truth have to play in our relationship with God?
(This question is designed to get your group talking about the confronting nature of truth. It’s also a chance for you to encourage people to be honest with God because it’s healthy for their intimacy
with Him).
3. Read James 4:4-10 and discuss what this passage can teach us about having a real relationship with God. (This is a chance to open up the Bible and have a deeper look at
scripture together. Take the time to chew on each verse and consider
what relevance it has to this session’s topic).
Prayer Points:
• Pray that we would come to God in truth and humility.
• Pray that we can be real representatives of Jesus in our world.
• Pray for anyone in the group that may be struggling in an area of
shame.
