Ken Belden is head of Investment Sales at Stafford Barrett, a Commercial Brokerage Firm. Ken joins Jake to discuss the Commercial Real Estate world and compare it to the residential side of real estate. They are very different niches, to say the least. Ken is a former yell leader at Texas A&M, defected from Austin, TX where he grew up. During his senior year at A&M, he acquired an internship at Stafford Barrett, a commercial real estate firm and brokerage. Since then, Ken has climbed up the ranks all the way up to head of investment sales at just 26 years old. Ken details some insight into the local commercial markets including retail, office, industrial, and land real estate. Ken gives some insight on the future and health of the commercial market, especially in a higher interest rate environment like we are seeing today.
