After a gargantuan opening of $182 million dollars, or equal to Tony Stark’s manicure budget, Captain America: Civil War has exceeded the expectations of both fans and critics. Placed in fifth place, Marvel now owns the 4 out of the top 6 of the all time biggest opener list. Impressive. While CA: The Winter Solider was my favorite solo Marvel film, I was a bit fatigued after the crazy hot mess of Avengers: Age of Ultron- which made me concerned that Civil War would also buckled under it’s own weight and fan expectation.
