In order to accept the Atonement and really forgive, you first have to come to one simple recognition - that this world is a perceptual problem. There is no "right" and "wrong" in this world. All human beings act out what they believe in the mind. And all beliefs are false, every one of them. There is no point in defending or valuing beliefs because they are all equally unreal. Only the truth is true, and Truth is beyond belief.
