Captain Danchi commissioned from Detachment 330 at UMD in 2016. After commissioning, he attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland. He is currently in his first year of Internal Medicine Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) located on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. After his three year residency, he will be pursuing a career as an Internist in the U.S. Air Force. Captain Danchi dives into the process he has gone through to become a doctor in the Military.
