On this episode of Your Daily MRE we continue the conversation of Space Force enlisted ranks this time with some visual options, admire some new fashion choices coming to an AFI 36-2903 near you, take a trip down memory lane with fun work mishaps, and talk about some of the things the military does best, corrective action!

On todays episode we interview Major Michael G. Cox, a Special Air Missions instructor pilot from Joint base Andrews, MD. Expect the following questions to be answered:

On todays episode we tackle the Space Force's enlisted rank decisions, our co-host Cadet Aguilera returning to the Navy, the fueling of the military with energy drinks, and an interview current pilot Major Cox.

The Det 330 Experience presents a new team, "Your Daily MRE", where we will discuss current Air Force events, ROTC tips and tricks, and all around military information. In this episode we discuss the wonderful Camp Shelby, we discuss the hottest Air Force uniforms of our time, and the most delicious treats there are, MRE's. 

Lt. Col Scott was a member of the first female UPT class and was in the first wave of women allowed in AFROTC. She joined Air Force ROTC at Oregon State University in 1970 after school officials had opened the program to women only a year prior and commissioned at a Second Lt. In 1973. I had a great time getting to hear her stories and journey in the Air Force. She also happens to be one of our Cadre Officers, Major Crampton’s, Mother in Law so thank you to him for setting this up! 

Captain Danchi commissioned from Detachment 330 at UMD in 2016. After commissioning, he attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland. He is currently in his first year of Internal Medicine Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) located on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. After his three year residency, he will be pursuing a career as an Internist in the U.S. Air Force. Captain Danchi dives into the process he has gone through to become a doctor in the Military. 

Lt. Gen Vechery is one of Detachment 330’s distinguished alumni that graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988. Lt. Gen. Vechery is a Command Pilot with more than 3,000 hours in a variety of mobility aircraft to include the C-5. He spent time throughout his 31 year career as a Squadron Commander, Wing Commander, and most recently as the U.S. Africa Command Deputy for Military Operations before his retirement this past summer. He shares a plethora of important insight on his experiences and leadership philosophy and I can’t wait for you all to hear it.

Major Richardson is the former Detachment 330 Operations Flight Commander from 2017 to 2019 and is currently the Threat Reduction & Prevention Product Manager at the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center. A product of Army ROTC at North Carolina A&T, He spent time initially as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army then transitioned into the Air Force as a Civil Engineering Officer where he has had a variety of positions within the Air Force and Air Force National Guard. He received his bachelors in Civil Engineering and has since obtained his masters, doctorate, and is currently working on his second doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. Major Richardson dropped some insightful advice on how to be an effective cadet and officer and spoke about his career progression that brought him to where he is today. I hope you all enjoy.

Mr. Collins commissioned from Detachment 330 at UMD in 1988 and went on the fly F-111s as well as being an Instructor Pilot for the T-38 at ENJPTT. After an 8 year commitment, he went on to become a Commercial Airline Pilot then transitioned to sales and sales leadership positions where he is today. We got a good conversation in and Mr. Collins provides an insightful perspective for those thinking about what to do after their military service. 

Major Erin Salinas, U.S Space Officer, is currently serving on a Space Superiority Panel at the Pentagon. She has just transitioned from the U.S. Air Force to the U.S. Space Force within the past month. She has spent assignments in a variety of mission sets in her career to include missiles, space domain awareness, and offensive space control. She commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in 2006 from the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Program and has a Masters degree from the University of Maryland.
