Lt. Gen Vechery is one of Detachment 330’s distinguished alumni that graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988. Lt. Gen. Vechery is a Command Pilot with more than 3,000 hours in a variety of mobility aircraft to include the C-5. He spent time throughout his 31 year career as a Squadron Commander, Wing Commander, and most recently as the U.S. Africa Command Deputy for Military Operations before his retirement this past summer. He shares a plethora of important insight on his experiences and leadership philosophy and I can’t wait for you all to hear it.
