When Prince Charles posed for portraits during September’s royal visit to France, no one imagined one would be used to announce he was being treated for cancer just a few months later - least of all the photographer. 

Pod Save the King host Ann Gripper is joined by Samir Hussein, who took that photo - and also took the famous ‘umbrella photo’ of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their farewell visit as working royals. 

Samir shares the stories behind those photos, what it was like growing up as his photographer dad Anwar travelled the world with Princess Diana, how he ended up following in his footsteps, how the royal family is changing and what it is really like to work with them.
