Emotionally based decisions always come at a cost some big, some small. Don't allow short term feelings be the deciding factor of a long term decision.

Many groups that attempt to combat injustices on a large scale (LGBT, Black Lives Matter etc) make the same mistake. The intentions are almost always honorable and commendable yet there is a common ideology that hinders their true success!
