This week we will be focusing on the criminal justice system, how it is fundamentally anti-Black and how it marginalizes BIPOC. Through questioning and conversation, we attempt to unpack a system which oppresses Black and Indigenous bodies at every possible level. Join us as we navigate our own curiosity and analysis of the overrepresentation of BIPOC in the prison system, the purpose of prisons, and the school-to-prison pipeline.
