Card Talk

In this episode we look at a card from the Fellowship Sphere, Frodo's Intuition. It is very good if you are using the standard Black Riders hobbit deck, but is it viable to play when none of your heroes are hobbits?  Who knows!

We present to you everyone's favorite bear/Human skin changer: Beorn. Dan is famous for his blog, HallofBeorn.wordpress.com and the search engine associated with it, HallofBeorn.com. He is also one of the hosts of a podcast that's been around forever, The Grey Company.

Spend a little time with us discussing his favorite player card, Hero Beorn (go figure!).

In this episode we talk about the Elrond Hero card from the Foundations of Stone adventure pack. He has a few great tricks up his sleeve, but his threat cost is one of the highest in the game. Is the juice worth the squeeze?

In this episode we talk to the creator of https://VisionofthePalantir.com, Daan Prins. As an active member of both the facebook group and the COTR discord server, he seems to always be doing something for the game! He chose to talk about Idrean, a card that has seen a recent mini-resurgence in the recent cycle. Thanks to Daan for stopping by and thanks to all you for listening!

We take a trip around the LOTR LCG community and see what February had to offer. Yes, we talk about our Silvan February, but the community was active. Of special note was all the content that our friend, Samuel Shreeve (AKA Onidsen) put out. Always good. Take a listen to see what we saw this month.

SILVAN FEBRUARY! A card in the Silvan archetype that cancels a shadow effect?!?! Gotta have it... at least in a Silvan deck. We aren't so sure about in any other type of deck though.
