We're back after a week off and we've got plenty to discuss. Volleyball has continued their hot streak, picking up a pair of ranked road wins before toughing out a trap game against Miami. Field hockey also won this week, defeating Indiana for the ninth straight time. Justine Sowry's squad looks to be getting things moving in the right direction. After women's soccer opened their season with a victory last week, field hockey and volleyball followed suit a week later. The guys touch briefly on the tough loss by soccer team to a ranked Xavier squad before moving on to the wins for field hockey and volleyball over Bucknell, NKU, and South Dakota. They look ahead at the upcoming games this weekend for all three teams before moving into final thoughts.

After getting the fall season started last week, the show starts to fill in a bit more as two more Cardinal teams get their seasons started. Louisville women's soccer took a win in their regular season opener while field hockey eked out a victory over Miami (OH) in their first preseason scrimmage. Finally, the volleyball team is guaranteed a win in their scrimmage on Saturday as they take on themselves in the Red and Black scrimmage. All that and more in this week's episode.

It's a full house for the first time in a long time and what a time for it with Louisville athletics back in action. The group of five on today's episode mirrors last night's crew at the Louisville women's soccer game. The Cards took on Cincinnati in an exhibition for what was the first official event of Louisville's 2022-23 season which makes up the majority of the show. There's plenty more competition on the horizon which takes up the rest of the show so tune in for a great show.

After a week off, the show returns, and Case makes his return as well. With Daryl out, four of five are in for the last show before games officially take place at UofL again. The women's soccer team will get the season started with an exhibition next Friday, so the guys talk about what that game might look like and how the team will approach the season. There was also news galore this week, giving the gang plenty to cover across all seasons from field hockey to women's basketball to softball.

Jared, Jeff, and Paulie discuss what to expect and how to prepare for Fall Sports.

With the beginning of fall sporting events only three weeks away, the panel discussions what to expect when, and offer some tips and advice for, attending the main three UofL fall sports.  They go through the environment you should expect to encounter and some things to do to make your attendance more pleasant and hassle-free at each of Field Hockey, Volleyball, and Women's Soccer. 

The crew have a frank discussion about the progress of gender equity in sports, the impact the NIL has had on it, who is the benefiting the most and why?  Then they take a look at who they expect to be breakout starts in the big three fall sports.  Daryl is keeping her boyfriend's closet stocked with WNBA jerseys, and Jeff is trying to get his backup headset working, while Jared plays Putt Putt and Paulie reminisces about helping build it.

There are four in the house today as the guys cover a glut of current and former Cards competing in the pros and for their international teams. Scott Teeter leads a huge contingent of the Louisville Lacrosse program for Team Canada in the Lacrosse World Championships, Emina Ekic is joined by Allison Whitfield at Racing Louisville, and Kianna Smith is back with the LA Sparks. They also look at the women's golf schedule and other events on deck for Louisville.
