We're smitten with these pretty Australian wedding photos captured by Mary-Jane Photography & Design.
This stunning wedding was all about purple and green accents and a couple called Alis and Adrian.
Alis and Adrian were married at the First Romanian Bapatist Church, followed by a reception at Cardinia Culture Centre in Victoria, Australia.
The stunning bride was kind enough to share a few details with us, which you’ll find after the jump.
From the Bride, "Our nephews wore cute little grey pants and vests and our nieces were dressed as little fairies with purple tutu’s and together sang “This is the day that the Lord has made” at our ceremony. Being the favorite aunty & uncle this was very special to us. We didn’t have a bridal party, instead we hired a 14 seater limo and an extra car for some of our close friends and family to join in the photo-fun of the day. It was a fun day all together. We also requested that the girls wear either purple or green dresses of their choice {as this was the brides color theme} and that the boys wore black suits.
We both were from big Romanian families and communities, not to mention we both lived in two different cities {Adrian from Brisbane & Alis from Melbourne}. So it was difficult to please everyone and incorporate certain traditions. Cabbage rolls are a popular Romanian food and the Brides mother and aunties all got together to make them for the reception as well as an extravagant amount of Romanian cakes.
Our reception looked quite bare as it was all white with very high ceilings so we bought white paper lanterns to hang randomly from the lights and bought tall green orchids and grass for the vases. At the bottom of the vases we bought clear gel balls and green LED lights which gave the reception a nice atmosphere."
The brides advice, "Delegate jobs for the wedding day so you don’t have to stress or worry. Enjoy your day and take time to include friends and family that matter to you both."
Congratulations Alis and Adrian and thank you for sharing your wedding photos.
