Sadly, 27 minutes after the filming of episode 28,  special guest host Dante "Tater" Barksdale was a murder victim of gun violence,  inside of the same community he advocated for safer streets in.
            
      Not only did Tater dedicate the last 10+ years of his life to fight on the front line to save our communities, unknowingly he spent the last hour of his life, on this podcast along with Ty Hill and Bar Cardy discussing the negativity that plagues Our City, like drugs, violence and murder, lack of resources etc, and coming up with a plan of action to fix them as a community .

     Cards Face Up Podcast would like to send our deepest condolences to his love ones, family, friends and all who are effected by his untimely departure. 

    Dante changed many lives for the better, and it is with my sincerest belief, this episode will help continue to spread his message of positivity, love and forgiveness.
