On episode #80 of the CardsChat podcast, we have the pleasure of welcoming Terry King. With a perspective on the poker world that goes all the way back to the 1970s, Terry is a WSOP bracelet winner, and used to be engaged to none other than Poker Hall of Famer Chip Reese. She’s also a past nominee to the Women in Poker Hall of Fame, recognized for her career on the industry side of poker as a dealer, floorperson and tournament director. Most recently, she’s the beloved very active administrator of the Action Now Sports Poker Facebook group, which boasts close to 4,500 members, but this poker lady is “old school” at heart. On this show we learn about Terry’s life, as she treats up to some special stories from poker’s past.

A highly successful poker player originally from Arlington, Texas who now lives in Las Vegas, David has over $8.8 million in live tournament cashes across a range of poker variants. Most notably, he came in second place in the 2004 WSOP Main Event, runner up to Greg Raymer. He has also won other prestigious tournaments, including a World Poker Tour World Championship title, and a title at the 2009 WCOOP. Away from poker, David has competed on MasterChef, King of Vegas, and is an accomplished Magic the Gathering player. On today’s show, we’ll get to know him a little better.

Brad is a highly successful professional poker player originally from Santa Rosa, California who specializes in low to mid-stakes cash games. He has an extremely successful YouTube Channel that was one of the first in the industry and now boasts close to 600,000 subscribers. He is known for hosting large meet-up games along with Andrew Neeme for their legions of loyal fans. In January, he purchased an ownership stake in The Lodge, a 60-table poker room near Austin, Texas, along with Andrew Neeme and Doug Polk. On today’s show, we’ll be discussing Brad’s career in poker, his trajectory towards becoming an award-winning content creator, and where he sees himself headed as his poker path continues.
