Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going
As caregivers, we become so focused on doctor appointments, medications, treatments, and the health of the people we love that we often forget about our own health. I missed my annual physical, my mammogram, my wellness exams, my eye appointments, and even routine checkups because I was pouring everything I had into someone else.
But here's the question we rarely hear: What about us, the caregivers?
Who reminds us to schedule our appointments? Who checks on our mental health, our physical health, and our emotional well-being?
In this heartfelt episode, I share my personal journey as a caregiver and why putting ourselves last can come with serious consequences. This conversation is for every caregiver who has ever felt invisible while caring for someone they love.
Have you ever put your own health on hold while caring for someone else? If so what happened? How did you find your way back to taking care of yourself? Share your story in the comments--I would love to hear from you and build a community where caregivers support one another.
Subscribe and join me every Friday at 9:00 AM for a new episode filled with faith, hope, encouragement, and honest conversations for caregivers and families facing life's toughest seasons.
