I had the opportunity to speak with Stel Raven, who talks with us about deconstructing the Western view of gender. Stel’s keynote was called Queering and Decolonizing Trauma Work: A Path for Two-Spirit Wellness. Stel Raven is an Indigenous queer, trans, two-spirit individual with a Master of Social Work. They work as a clinical therapist in private practice specializing in queer, trans and two-spirit wellness as well as recovery from complex trauma. We have a opportunity and obligation to learn what our Western upbringing has hidden from us.

Sherry Law is active on the CCPA’s Technology and Innovative Solutions Chapter and joined us to talk with us about her experience with technology and what the future of counselling might look like using these tools going forward. It's not just about the computer these days.
