In this week's episode, I sit down with the new Director of the Center for Career and Professional Development, Dr. Tricia Zelaya-Leon. In the 1st part of a 2 part episode, we discuss her transition to K, what it was like growing up in Ohio. Her decision to go to Ohio University, how she made the decision that graduate school was the correct choice for her, and the advice she'd give to her freshmen self.

This week I sit down with alum Drew Brockington '04 to talk about how he built a successful career using the skills he learned as an art and art history major. Drew now runs a successful small business as a children's book author and illustrator. During our conversation we to talk about his time at K, what he did after college, and how he eventually found his current career path and broke through and got his first book published. We also talk about a new comic book project he is working on for D.C. Comics and we also chat about Star Wars and our mutual love of The Mandalorian.
