    Ray Parker JR.
    "You Can't Change That"

    Honey, I'll always love you
I promise I'll always love you
'Cause I think the whole world of you
And you can't change that, no, no
There's nothing you can do or say
I thought about this for many a day
And my mind's made up to feel this way
    And you can't change that
'Cause you're the only one I love
    And you can't change that
You're the only one I need
    And you can't change that
    (You're the one I love)
You're the only one I love
    And you can't change that
You're the only one I need
    And you can't change that
Now you can try if you want to, whoa
You can change your telephone number
And you can change your address too
But you can't stop me from loving you
No, you can't change that, no, no
You can change the color of your hair
And you can change the clothes you wear
But you'll never change the way I care
    No, you can't change that
'Cause you're the only one I love
    And you can't change that
    (You're the one I love)
You're the only one I need
    And you can't change that
You're the only one I love
    And you can't change that
You're the only one I need
    And you can't change that
(You're the one I love, girl)
Now you can try if you want to
    (Try me, baby, whoa)
    No, you can't change that
    (You're the one I love)
You can try but you can't change that
    (You're the one)
Now you can change your telephone number
You can change your address too
But you can't stop me from loving you
    No, you can't change that...

  • 2017 is alive with Great Ska Music From Jamaica with Alphanso Castro
Ska (/'sk??/, Jamaican is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae. Ska combined elements of Caribbean mento and calypso with American jazz and rhythm and blues. It is characterized by a walking bass line accented with rhythms on the off-beat. Ska developed in Jamaica in the 1960s when Prince Buster, Clement "Coxsone" Dodd, and Duke Reid formed sound systems to play American rhythm & blues and then began recording their own songs. Some suggest ska dates to earlier times, however. In the early 1960s, ska was the dominant music genre of Jamaica and was popular with British mods. Later it became popular with many skinheads
Music historians typically divide the history of ska into three periods: the original Jamaican scene of the 1960s; the 2 Tone ska revival of the late 1970s in Britain, which fused Jamaican ska rhythms and melodies with the faster tempos and harder edge of punk rock; and the third wave of ska, which involved bands from the UK, other European countries (notably Germany), Australia, Japan, South America and the United States, beginning in the 1980s and peaking in the 1990s.

  • The Love Doctor MLK Week End Musical Mix
Excerpt From MLK's "I Have A Dream" Speech.....
I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
    I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, that one day right down in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
    I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exhalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
This is our hope. This is the faith that I will go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.
