The Bob Marley biography provides testament to the unparalleled influence of his artistry upon global culture. Since his passing on May 11, 1981, Bob Marley’s legend looms larger than ever, as evidenced by an ever-lengthening list of accomplishments attributable to his music, which identified oppressors and agitated for social change while simultaneously allowing listeners to forget their troubles and dance.

Bob Marley was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994; in December 1999, his 1977 album “Exodus” was named Album of the Century by Time Magazine and his song “One Love” was designated Song of the Millennium by the BBC. Since its release in 1984, Marley’s “Legend” compilation has annually sold over 250,000 copies according to Nielsen Sound Scan, and it is only the 17th album to exceed sales of 10 million copies since SoundScan began its tabulations in 1991.

Had I not started to read some history of human civilization, the knowledge of it would stay in hiding from me. Here is a piece of background that tells a little of the Negro prominence ages prior to whites nascent emergence on the scene of Europe. The following is told in the context of authentic history; “The World and Africa” by W.E.B. DU Bois.  A barrage of denial were made that caused Mr. Volney to change his conclusion Egyptian is Black, though their reasons never based on further investigation. But the change was based on fixed scientific public opinion in the nineteenth century. Reisner unearthed a civilization of black folk in Ethiopia, hastened to declare that they were not Negroes!  But you see Reisner was born in sight of Negro slavery in America and never forgot it. Flora Shaw wrote of blackest men of the Sudan and their brilliant civilization, but warned her readers that they were not Negroes! So here in Ethiopia, “Land of the Black,” country of the “Burnt Faces,” we are continually faced with silly paradox that these black folk were not Negroes. It tells you that criminals have hijacked the the  principle of factual human existence.

I call the ability to hear both oneself and others bilateral (2-sided) listening.  Narcissistic listening is one-way, listening to myself only, listening.    When differences arise, folks who do bilateral listening are pros at taking into consideration both their concerns and others'.  This bilateral listening ability enables them to routinely seek and create win-win solutions, which in turn sustains their relationships with on-going goodwill.  For instance, if you are tired, you would listen to that feeling and head for bed.  At the same time if you have just received a call from a friend who has a problem and urgently wants to talk with you, you might suggest that the two of you talk for a few minutes now, and aim to talk more at length in the morning.  Or with a more gentle, "Yes I hear that you want to talkbut I'm just too tired.  In the latter case you seemed to be hearing your friend's request, and then your but minimized, dismissed and discarded the data about the friend's need.   Narcissistic folks can be generous.  Narcissistic folks actually are often very generous.  They may, for instance, give away large sums of money to charity.  Generous giving makes the giver feel good and also feels appropriate, like "the right" thing to do.  They may well therefore pride themselves on their compassion and altruism. Often too, selfish-takeover ignites tendency to war

Black Man PROVES Adam and Eve Biblical Story is a LIE: His DNA Dates Back 338 THOUSAND YEARS!

As a child, the story of Adam and Eve always perplexed me... even to my childlike sensibilities I knew it did not make any logical sense AT ALL.  Countless debates and sometimes fights were had around the dinner table, as I sought to bring logic to my family who had an illogical belief in what seemed to be a completely absurd story (along with santa claus, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy and everything else fantastical) that they based their lives (and the oppression of women) around. So imagine my vindication when I found this article about a Black man in South Carolina whose DNA is traced back 338 thousand years…  so now creationists have quite a conundrum to ponder: a. the entire basis of Judaism (and therefore Christianity) is myth or  b. irrefutable proof that Adam and Eve were Black and created in God’s true image (a true horror to white Christian fundamentalists)  These findings of course, have not been reported in mainstream… I wonder why… (that was sarcasm).
