Generalist implies you–you have skill in many areas. If you are reading this book or listening to this audio, you have no weaknesses. You are strong in every area. You're overdoing it though, in one area, which is you're using your strength to start to judge your areas of improvement and you're calling them weaknesses and the moment you do that, you get blinder and blinder and blinder. Take your strengths, be aware of those strengths. Go back to the quadrant we showed you before, look at the diagonal, that's your first hire. That's where you need to get a mirror, somebody that can reflect back to you somebody that can help you formulate the entire picture, including the parts of the picture that you're missing. Now this person needs to be emotionally neutral. They need to be a third party. This cannot be your family.
