I used to build custom homes and people would say to me sometimes, "hey I’d like to put on this kind of a countertop," and me like really, you sure you wanna do that? And they're like "oh doesn’t look good?" I’m like no it looks like crap but if you insist that your gig. So, what I would do is, they’re kinda decided that I would go by is, am I--even if I don’t like what they’re asking me to do or I don’t like part of what they’re asking me to put in, does it still get the result? ‘Cause I’m not tied to the result, how we get there. I just want to make sure you get there. So, I’m willing to be as flexible, I’m willing to take the scenic route as well as the direct route but if I think it’s going to hurt your objective or hurt your ability to get the objective then I would step in because if they’re hiring you as the expert you got to at some point you have responsibility to be the expert even if it means you jeopardize the engagement. Meaning, you say “listen we’re not doing that.” Well if you're not my video producer, that’s fine. I’ll help you find somebody but I’m not going to willingly and knowingly walk you down the path that will be catastrophic for this project, I won't do it.
