The Language of Influence Part 1

Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.

Three languages that we are going to talk about today. First language is the language of influence, right? And what I wanna do is I wanna talk about how we generally influence the other person. The first thing we have to work on within that is our body language, right? So, we gave high fives before, the energy level went up, where are we at? 3-9-4,okay, we’ll get up there. Now in order to have influence of any type, we have to build an environment of rapport. Okay? Now we're gonna go through 9 types of influence in a moment, we need them to trust us that’s the goal we need to get to. But first thing we need to do is, we need to build rapport. Now, if I were to ask you what is–how would you define ‘rapport’? What was your working definition of that be?  Just shout it out? What do you think rapport is all about? 

(Relationship) 

Relationship? Great. Relationship of what? 

(Trust)

Trust, nice try. You’re right ahead. Go ahead. Confidence? Rapport is the relationship of saying this like this commonality.
