You are Now the Specialist

Now you've got a plan and now you build yourself up as the expert, right, your analysis specialist, an authority, a thought leader, an expert, a guru in your space. Here you need to be the smartest person in any room that you walk into as it relates to your subject matter. And there's a practical reason for that, at some point, you're gonna want to grow and scale, that means you're gonna have to put a layer of employees between you and the line worker, who's a manager, right? The manager is a non-revenue-generating employee. So you have to have enough gross margin dollars in order to afford that layer. Right? If you price yourself too low, and you're not thought of as an expert, it's going to be hard to keep employees and to pay for them. So as in the area of specialty, think about what are the top credentials in your space. What are the top people have as credentials? Did they go to a certain school? Do they have a certain degree or diploma? There was–there’s a certificate or was there an exercise that they had to go through in order to you know, a hazing a boot camp or summit or whatever, in order to stand in front of you today? You know, one of our clients is an Olympic medalist when he stands in front of you and says and talks to you about training, and he's wearing a silver medal from the Winter Olympics around his neck.
