Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
Born and raised in a New Jersey, small town so I grew up in a town with 12,000 people I was a--I still live not and far from where I grew up but I was going to school for accounting and finance at the University of Delaware, had a pretty bad--I broke my leg pretty badly and I had to leave school and I was paying my own way so you know after 6 months out of school and all the loans coming in and all the scholarships go away going back to school since I was paying for it wasn’t really gonna happen. So, I left school and I actually I enrolled in county college but I started my first business. I started a design build landscape firm and I grew that business from 1985 through 1992 ended up selling that company. I was going to school nights taking classes in art and culture, but also business management. I started a home building company in 1992 and grew that business and sold that in 2004 but I started coaching in 1991. I went to a Tony Robbins seminar the motivational speaker in 1990 and really fell in love with the idea of helping people you know chart out their dreams and goals and achieve that and so I was doing coaching all through the 90’s as my side gig, my side hustle.
