Join Carl Gould for part two in the mini-series, what's the difference between a solopreneur and an entrepreneur?
Read full transcript:
Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
For the most part the solopreneur is not a--it’s not a spark, it’s not a great idea, I’m gonna change the world. You know usually it’s somebody who either just wants a better lifestyle choice. So, they take their expertise they go into a business or they do it out of necessity maybe they were fired, they were made redundant or you know they're qualified, they’re over paid for their position and so what makes them over qualified in their job makes them uniquely qualified as a solopreneur, a consultant or an expert or speaker and so a solopreneur typically takes what their core competency is and they really just do it for you know do it for hire and has learned that they can--if they can fill their plate with the clients, they’ll make a lot more money cause that margin that was going to their boss now stays to them. So, really they're more masters of the business logistics or they're more masters of their particular technical area of expertise. So, it’s usually not because they figure out a way to change the world.
