Read full transcript:
Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
Either you love what you're doing or how you're doing it or why you’re doing it. For me the why was, I was getting some life purpose you know six months earlier I was on a couch with my leg in a cast you know elevated, I can’t go anywhere I’m like literally broken leg broke on mom’s couch, this is not a good--these optics are not very good so that business got me in the game earning, paying back my loans got me broke you know. So, that was--so that why, was strong for me but I wasn’t you know, construction wasn’t my passion play but the other two filled in so if you’re a solopreneur motivation is gonna come from one of those three. You’ve got to love the why or the how, some combination, you love all three, fantastic. The other way--your motivation will grow is, your ability to be more productive and charge more and this is not that money buys you happiness because you have that better discussion. What it is is you are growing in your practice so if you're a solopreneur it’s just you, okay. You're gonna blink--if you remind the solopreneur, you’re gonna blink your eyes, go to sleep one night, wake up thirty five years later and you're doing the same thing.
