Read full transcript:
Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
People get into business for all sort of reasons and you know some by choice, some really not by choice you know they’ve got fired from their job though and--or you now they've risen to a salary level that most business don’t want to pay anymore so they become somewhat unemployable you know and so the a--I’m not one of these guys where you have to be passionate about your work, I do believe you have to either love what you do or how you’re doing it or why you're doing it, right. I didn’t love what I did in the beginning but I did love how I was doing it. I found a few secret sauces that I learned very early in business that serve me well and I was just smoking the competition. So I like how I was doing business and the reason why I was in business at that time was very selfish but I needed to make money, I needed to make a living, pay off debt I mean I--and so my how and my why were strong but I can’t say I loved what I was doing I mean you know construction was not a passion play for me. You know so everyone gets into these things for different reasons and I think you have to find that reason and be able to (latch) onto it cause that’s whats ultimately gonna keep you motivated, that’s what ultimately gonna serve your mind set.
