Carly Findlay OAM is proud of the person that she is. The Australian author, speaker and fashionista isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in and to tell you what she thinks. 

Born with a disability called ichthyosis, a rare genetic disorder that affects her skin and hair, she has defied ableism and discrimination her whole life to become a strong voice in our community. In this episode you’ll learn the importance of ‘saying hello’, how she found love, her journey to becoming a role model for young people, and how much better her fashion is than yours.

With his passion for promoting real inclusion for people on the Spectrum, Hayden McDonald (22) is Australia's first "Unofficial" Pilot who is Autistic to fly solo across Australia.
"Don't want to take that risk and doesn't want to be Neurodiverse Friendly" is when Hayden speaks with Angus and Dylan on the significance of dismantling barriers between people with disabilities and the aviation workforce.
Hayden also talks about how he went from being mute as a child to public speaking all over Australia. Sharing his own stage preparation techniques when it comes to public speaking on his own social media platforms, at educational events, and even at Parliament House.

With over 120k followers on social media, April Lockhart's limb difference has now become her "greatest accessory"  as she educates the public about her disability.
April's ability to tell stories through her outfits on social media is one of passion and authenticity as she chats to ListenABLE on how fashion comes first over function every single time.
In addition, April shares her "mixed relationship with Fashion Week," discussing how she and other disabled people created an inclusive project in the New York Fashion Space, an event where it is already very easy to feel excluded whether or not one has a disability.

Imagine as a hospitality business having a FREE platform that provides a resource for customers that brings in customers simply by might already exist!

Tech Entrepreneur and Innovator Matt Pierri stumbled upon the idea for his app 'Sociability' after discovering how much of his own time was drained trying to find places to hang out socially for him and his friends, as a wheelchair user, attending Oxford University.
 
In this Episode of ListenABLE we speak about the importance of recognising disabled voices in the tech space, why disability and business go hand in hand and how a tool like AI that was meant to assist users with disability could be concerning.
