The motoring industry is up in arms with the Federal Government that is squeezing car manufacturers by shifting the needle on fuel efficiency standards on new cars being sold in Australia. 

The aim is to force car manufacturers to sell more electric and hybrid cars in Australia, the new standards will come into effect in 2025.
