Carol Ofori

A young woman from Chatsworth, who is also a Miss South Africa hopeful and a radio presenter for a community radio station, shares her story with us. She was abandoned as a baby and brought up by an Indian family. She is what we would like to celebrate this Women Crush Wednesday.

Carol Ofori loves the beach and she wanted to shed some light on the fact that our oceans are being polluted daily. In honour of World Ocean's Day, she spoke to Presha Soogrim from the KZN Beach Cleanup team. They dedicate a once a month gathering where they go to the beach with a group of volunteers and pick up plastic and other rubbish off the shores.
